The Maesa Group has announced that Tom Butkiewicz has resigned from his postion as president, Maesa Packaging, effective May 18, 2010.

“Tom was an integral part of the growth and success of Maesa Packaging,” says Jill Belasco, Maesa CEO, adding, “and we are grateful for his efforts. We wish him much success in his new endeavors.” Belasco will assume interim responsibility for the division.

Butkiewicz was president of Zorbit Resources unitl the company was acquired by Maesa Packaging, at which time he became president and CEO.
